mail credit
(1)邮寄信用状 以邮递方式传达的信用状。利用邮递方法将开发信用状事实通知受益人的方法有：由开状银行透过受益人所在地或最靠近该地方的总分支行或通汇银行将开状事实通知受益人；进口商要求开状银行将信用状正本迳寄受益人；将信用状交由进口商迳寄受益人。
(2)邮递融资 银行对顾客或往来银行在托收票据尚未入帐前所办理的融资垫款。例如在与开状银行的通汇契约(agency arrangement)中可约定：出口地外汇银行於购得即期信用状(*sight credit)项下汇票後，将汇票及跟单寄往开状银行求偿，而开状银行在偿付之前，在单据邮汇期间，请购银行可用跟单汇票为担保，请开状银行给予的短期融资，即称为邮递融资。 |
