保险人
又称assurer，为订立保险契约的当事人之一方。即收取保费，於被保危险发生时，依其承保的责任范围，对被保险人(*insured)赔偿损失之人。各国法律对保险人的资格都有规定，除少数国家准许个人经营外(称之为*underwriter)，仍以法人经营占绝大多数，倘如被保险人与不具法定资格的保险人订定保险契约，则该保险契约无效。依照我国保险法的规定，保险业的组织以股份有限公司或合作社为限，如我国之输出保险，其保险人为中国输出入银行。 |
